How and when did The Bookshelf website start?
The Bookshelf started right here on Homestead in April of 2001, as a dedication to some of our favorite books: Pride & Prejudice, Jane Eyre, Little Women, etc, and has grown from there.
What can I find @ The Bookshelf?
The Bookshelf is your haven for classic literature, history, period dramas, BBC tv, and music. British-Lovers sit down with your favorite cup of tea and browse, or read your favorite book online. Check out our latest project or discuss a book in the chat room. We have many useful links, including a special teacher page, so browse around ~ there is always something new happening here.
